(NASDAQ: LORL) announced that, in connection with receipt of proceeds from the sale of its former subsidiary Space Systems/Loral, its Board of Directors has declared a special distribution of $29.00 per share for an aggregate distribution of up to $899.3 million. The distribution is payable onDecember 4, 2012 to holders of record of Loral voting and non-voting common stock as ofNovember 19, 2012.
The special dividend has a dividend yield of 37%.
